Title : Further notes on the genus Euryphura Staudinger (Lepidoptera: Nymphalidae)
Abstract : Euryphura is considered to include seven species and seven subspecies. E. athymoides Berger, stat.n. is raised to species level. E. isuka Stoneham and E. kiellandi Hecq are newly placed as subspecies of E. chalcis (C. & R. Felder). E. fontainei Hecq is newly placed as a subspecies of E. porphyrion (Ward). E. plautilla ab. aereofasciata Schultze E. jolyana Hecq and its replacement name E. hecqui (Ackery) are placed as new synonyms of E. chalcis chalcis. Cymothoe lisidora Aurivillius, E. plautilla aurimarginata Suffert and E.p. albimargo form neoalbofasciata van Someren are transferred from the synonymy of E. chalcis to that of E. plautilla (Hewitson).
