The butterfly Hypolimnas salmacis magnifica (Drury, 1773) in Kakamega Forest National Reserve (KNFR), Kenya

Abstract :

We report the presence of the butterfly Hypolimnas salmacis magnifica in KFNR.  This species, which belongs to the family Nymphalidae, had been believed to be locally extinct in Kenya.
